Newly refurbished transformer was damaged in transit when truck hit an overpass.
The equipment was tested and found to have no damage to coils. There is only damage to some of the high and low voltage bushings.Testing Notes:
- There was observable damage to the top of the transformer in the area of the end (H3) high voltage bushing and in the middle (H2) high voltage bushing ports.
- There was observable minimal damage to the top of the transformer in the vicinity of the end (X3) low voltage bushing port.
- No damage was observed to the sides of the transformer tank or to its base.
- No damage was observed to the side control cabinet or the cooling fans brackets.
- No damage was observed to the voltage tap changer.
- The transformer top cover was welded in place.
- The top manholes cover plates were removed to make a preliminary visual inspection of the interior of the transformer.
- Two high voltage (H2 and H3) bushings lead terminations had been damaged.
- No other apparent damage to the interior of the transformer was observed.
Needs to be crane loaded onto trailer at buyers expense.

Terms of Offering
Purchaser acknowledges that he is aware that the merchandise was acquired by seller as a result of a fire, water damage or other casualty. Such merchandise may have been defective prior to the occurrence of the casualty or damaged by the occurrence of the casualty.
Accordingly, the purchaser hereby agrees that under no circumstances shall he seek to hold seller liable, or shall he or shall anyone who obtains title to the merchandise through him, seek to hold seller liable for any defective condition of the merchandise or any injuries to persons or property arising from the merchandise or from its use or from any defective condition of the merchandise. Purchaser further waives any and all warranties, express or implied, with regard to the condition or merchantability of the merchandise or its fitness for any particular use. Purchaser accepts the merchandise “as is” and “with all faults” and acknowledges that he is aware that the seller has made no inspection of the merchandise with regard to its condition of fitness for any purpose.
The purchaser acknowledges that no other representations or warranties were made to him or relied upon by him with respect to the condition, quality or function of the merchandise. The purchaser also acknowledges that American Salvage Liquidators, Inc has no knowledge as to and makes no representations as to topics and issues such as trademark, intellectual property and related issues. The purchaser further acknowledges that he is not relying on the seller’s skill or judgment to select or furnish goods suitable for any particular or general purpose.
The validity, interpretation and effect of this Agreement shall be governed exclusively by the laws of the State of Florida without regard to its conflict of laws rules.
Bid Procedure

Terms of Sale
- "As is, where is, all faults as lying, free and clear of all liens and encumbrances."
- Payment is required in the form of a wire transfer only, payable to American Salvage Liquidators Inc. for the full amount of the successful bid, to be received within two (2) business days of date of sale, in exchange for delivery order. Payment must be received prior to release of goods.
- Any and all expenses and/or charges, if applicable, incurred by the material after the date of acceptance of the bid shall be for the account of the successful bidder.
- We and/or our principals reserve the right to reject any and all bids for any reason whatsoever.
- We have indicated the general condition of the cargo offered for sale as GUIDANCE only. We make NO WARRANTY as to actual condition. It is strongly recommended that prospective bidders view the cargo for sale to determine to their own satisfaction its exact condition prior to bidding.
- Unless otherwise stated, all offers are made on a sealed bid basis with the terms of the sale "As Is, Where Is, All Faults As Lying", all warranties of fitness excluded. The successful bidder will hold harmless American Salvage Liquidators Inc., Cargo Underwriters, Manufacturer and Importer from any and all claims arising from the purchase of the material.
